Behind the capture:
Capturing this shot of Clachtoll Beach was an exhilarating experience, but it nearly ended in disaster. As I was flying my drone to get the perfect angle, I became so focused on framing the shot that I didn’t notice the battery level dropping. To make matters worse, the wind was picking up, and my drone began struggling against the gusts to make its way back. I was so close to losing it out to sea, with the drone barely making it back to land before the battery died. I had to perform an emergency landing on the other side of the beach, just in time to save it from a watery fate.
Despite the close call, I’m thrilled to share this stunning view of Clachtoll Beach - one of Scotland's prettiest beach.
